Since its foundation on October 28, 1849 the company can look back on a unique company history and, in the meantime, is lead by the 6th generation of the Schweizer family. The company is the third biggest PCB manufacturer in Europe and stands for one of the most modern manufacturing sites for high complex PCBs.

2014

SCHWEIZER was founded 165 years ago and starts two further partnerships with new shareholders

  • in July with WUS Printed Circuits (Kunshan) Co., Ltd., China,
    WUS acquires a stake of 4.5% in SCHWEIZER.
  • in November with Infineon Technologies AG, Germany,
    INFINEON acquires a stake of 9.4% in SCHWEIZER.
2017

WUS increases its equity stake in SCHWEIZER to 29.9% as follows:

  • WUS Printed Circuits (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. acquires 15.24% of SCHWEIZER shares and now holds a total of 19.74%.
  • WUS Printed Circuit Co., Ltd, Taiwan acquires a stake of 10.16% in SCHWEIZER.

Im November, the company signs an Investment Agreement with the government of Jintan (Jiangsu Province/China) to set up a sustainable high Technology PCB and embedding production facility in China.
