DRC & Simula­tions

Design rule check (DRC) & simulations

Our experts will be happy to advise you on the optimisation of your layout and lay-up as well as on material selection. In addition to our many years of experience, we also have professional tools for the optimisation of your PCB layout.

Design rule check

Our software-based design rule check is a preparatory step that determines whether your layout data can be plausibly and reliably fabricated. It detects design rule violations and potential weaknesses with regard to function and production in advance. Together with your employees, we'll optimise your layout to ensure the best possible results.

Lay-up and use of technology

In accordance with your specifications about thermal and electrical requirements, our experienced technicians and engineers will provide you with advice on your lay-up, choice of material, and technology usage. Especially in the area of high-current and high-frequency circuit, there is considerable potential for performance and cost optimization.

Heat management/thermal simulation/current load capacity

Impedance calculations and HF adjustments

Having an impedance-optimised circuit design is becoming increasingly important, and it's now a decisive factor of success for many applications. With our calculation and simulation software, we are able to calculate and simulate the impedance behaviour of even complex lay-ups using various methods and models. This enables the optimum adjustment of your layout in line with impedance requirements with due consideration of production tolerances.

Design guidelines

Our design rules give you a valuable set of parameters that allow you to take our standards into account in your layout design. If they're defined too narrowly for your application, let us know. We'll do everything possible to find the best solution with you.

Our labs have extensive measurement and analysis equipment for the characterisation of your PCBs. This includes the following:
